Poliquin "Meat And Nuts Breakfast"
Are there any strong thoughts and/or insights about Poliquin's "Meat and Nuts Breakfast"?
I understand the importance of eating protein with the first meal of the day (and every meal thereafter for that matter!), but eating ONLY meats and nuts at breakfast seems to counter various other nutritional proponents that suggest eating most of the daily intake of carbohydrates early in the day (and to consume simple sugars mostly at breakfast and post-workout).
Has anyone used the "Meats and Nuts Breakfast" as part of their nutrition program and if so what has been the tangible results, if anything?
