I saw in news how 16 "herbal" substances were banned by the FDA today, and they are warning against the use of pro-hormones. Does anyone know if, as of today, whether they are banned or not in the U.S.? Thanks. I just completted my 1st cycle with satisfactory results, and hope I can sensibly continue. Thanks.

I haven't heard anything about it. I did a search on msnbc and found nothing. Maybe you could give us a link with the story...all I've heard is that April was the deadline for ephedra sales.

According to my friend who runs a supplement chain, under tha fda ruling you will still be able to purchase ephedra as a bronchilador.

true, but it requires a script.

unfortunately, I do not have a link as I saw it on Yahoo news as I was checking my e-mail a couple of days ago. Well, if you guys have heard nothing, then I am sure I must have misunderstood the news story. It seems the products can still be purchased as I am about to order a 6-oxo, so perhaps all is good, then. thanks.

ephedrine and androstenedione are the only banned substances at this point. The story that broke last week was basically "a clarification" that the FDA did not require evidence that a supplement was harmful in order to pull it from the market. Basically setting themselves up for complete wanton unregulated rampaging of the supplement industry without cause. Kind of how the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act means they can search and seize without probable cause.

Next the Bush administration plans to install cameras in everyone's colon and put a quota on how many dumps you can take per day.

I believe that's 1.5 doo doos per day. Anything past that is a possible national security risk....

perhaps the .5 can then be turned into a supplement that the FDA can later ban, even though it is all natural????

Even better, perhaps they will ban defecating, as it is "too obscene."

That wold be the FCC vs the FDA, but they too have gone to hell.

Ah yes...I need to get my Puritanistic regulation agencies straight.
