I know Will's e-books are great but has anybody bought any other e-books and been happy with them?

List them all in this thread please ( diet and training related ) :)

Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto.

He goes into how to prepare yourself mentaly to stick to a program and seems to realy understand the tendancy to get great results then get satisfied and get lazy, then ultimately lose your results and try to get motivated again (he also explains it a lot better than me;).

Of course there's also Will's other ebook Diet supplements revealed. Explains about how to loose fat while keeping as much muscle as possible, along with info on diet supplements.

As far as books *only* available in e-book format at the present time...

Don't pass over the free bodybuilding recipe book from Internet Publications. Although free, there's a lot of good recipes in there.

I'd highly recommend Christian Thibaudeau's ebook Modern Strength and Power Methods. Extensive look at strength training methods, particularly for athletes. Goes well beyond resistance training and has some interesting applications. Very well done. Available on charliefrancis.com. Apparently, CT has no plans in the near future to make this a print book due to financial and time constraints.

I have both of McDonald's books in print form. They are very well-done. I like his largely evidence-based style.

The Underground Guide to Warrior Fitness by Ross Enamait is a great ebook on bodyweight training.

This is another good e-book I recently bought. I found out about it from erp7e (thanks erp).

It's basically a nutrition ebook for powerlifting and trying to make a lower weight class while getting as strong as possible (not so much for the super heavy weights).

It's realy good and informative. It's made similar to Will's ebook in the way that they're both based off scientific fact and real world applications, but this ebook seems to advertise his own personal line of products a bit much, but not so much where it interferes with the good info and who knows, maybe they're good quality...

Either way, I'm very happy with this ebook.

Any others about powerlifing that's more along the lines of training?

I've been looking up some of the West Side techniques. Gotta start getting into "good mornings", (sounds scary).

Have you guys signed up for Pasquale's newsletter?

He doesn't send them out too often but they are quite good when he does.

Like Alan points out though he gives a one sided view of the supplements he sells in his articles. Still decent information though as long as you realise this.

DiPasquale's newsletter is good, and there's also some decent free stuff on his site. If you buy a product from his site, you automatically get access to a bunch of other stuff. Definitely worth checking out for any strength trainer.

He does push a lot of product, which certainly makes his opinions on supplements less objective. He is not alone in this regard. But for what it's worth, a lot of people laud his supplement line as being of very high quality.

I have not yet read any of his other books. I have plenty far to go before I exhaust the stuff in the Underground Guide.

Plus, my wife has been giving me a hard time about my recent fitness-related purchases ("Are you going through a mid-life crisis or something?"), so I should probably wait awhile before spending more money on exercise books. :)
