From issue 78, Gang of Five, talking about prohormones:

"Our work with prohormones indicates that, at best, they're extremely weak steroids which, unfortunately, seem to be causing far too many cases of gyno."

Interestingly, this quote didn't resurface much during the marketing of MAG-10.

The plot thickens...ever since I posted the above message, I've been banned from the t-mag forums. Not allowed to post there anymore. Highly coincidental, huh?

I've never posted anything remotely offensive over there...in fact I rarely post at all, since the major topics of discussion seem to be blowing smoke up each others' asses, measuring their phalluses, and talking about how all Democrats are "Commies." I love t-mag, but the message board is nothing to write home about.

No big loss...but perhaps someone here is a "mole?" :D Amusing.

OMG, you sure it's not just a technical problem? They banned you for quoting their own text?????

How pitifully insecure, especially to ban somebody as bright as you.

I don't know for sure, but my posts stopped going through not long after I posted the above. Before, I never had this problem. Also, some of my previous posts were removed (!). If it is a technical problem, it would be an interesting coincidence.

I've heard of similar things happening to other people with the t-mag forums. Interesting, considering some of the stuff that is allowed to be posted there.

Scott Sonnon?

He pushes clubbells or kettle bells or something like that. He is famous for becoming moderators on forums and preaching his "systems" but then when you question anything about him and his ethics (or lack thereof) he bans you. He actually banned me from his website and I wasnt even a member....that was hilarious. He had me banned from another site I frequented often. And only for offering someone help by suggesting they save money by buying weights and dumbbells rather than overpriced clubbells that are fixed in weight.

That's what I meant by a Scott Sonnon move.

Well...false alarm...I can post at t-mag.com now. If it's any consolation, I'm now banned from the charliefrancis.com store, since asking for an actual product after paying for it apparently pisses them off! Good to know.

Good for T-Mag, that would have put me off ever buying anything from them again if they were that petty.... Glad to see it was just a balls up.

I may still continue buying GROW occasionally now :-)

Well, if you aren't pissing somebody somewhere off, you're probably not being honest. Or...at least that's what I tell myself.

:D
