My son is a big Command and Conquer gamer, although he hasn't played online yet. I used to play Age of Empires online, but it's been a while.

No halo online? I have yet to try the online thing but it looks like fun. Just dont want tp pay f-ing microsoft more money. I got Halo2. Better weapons and better action with upgraded, but not hugly different graphics. Call of duty looks goodbut I like the sci fi type weapons to play with.

Yah, you can play Halo online with Xbox live, but I personally think PC's online are far better. BTW, Halo itself is unlikely to ever have that much better graphics as it runs at 480p due to the frame rate, if they tried to run in at say 1080i it would be to much of a struggle.

Graphically I agree it looks similar, although there are places you realise how much improved it is, but it's more the attention to detail, vehicles breaking up into pieces, etc, that has put a stress on the internal graphics card of the xbox.

Are you running it using hi-def inputs to your amp via component sockets or just plugging in a scart cable or similar? A hi-def kit works wonders BTW.

Am having a huge amount of fun with Halo2 so far. Play it on heroic or it's to easy.. that's just the right level for me. The hardest level is just darn impossible at some places of the game. I had to go back and start again on heroic. Amazing action at parts, flying the banshees etc, just had a dog fight with the arbiters enemy.

Excellent script if youi watch the cut scenes as well, it throws you a curve ball at one point yoiu start playing as the failed security commander alien,

yeah, lots of sites / servers sprung up doing it but none as good as the proper MS sites. Online gaming is a hell of a lot of fun but up to you whether it's worth investing in. I think once you tried it you would be hooked it's so gives you real value to the game because once you have finished the single player part of a game it just sits on a shelf and gathers dust. With online gaming you can play forever.

OH MY GOD!I signed up for Xbox live and have jumped into quickmatches with people. That's the most addicting thing I have ever seen! I was 8th out of 8 first game, 7th out of 8 the next, and 5th several games after that. Some of these people have tricks I never saw before. Just amazing technology really when you think about it.Perhaps we can have MBN private games at some point. My game name is MightyKillWill...I'm probably getting my ass kicked by 12 year olds who have never seen, much less fired, a real gun. What a nerd I am!

Yes, Halo2. The big team games are the most fun so far.

I can hear people talking but I can't see any reason to put on a headset and talk to them. If it was a group of peope I knew, that would be different.
