View Full Version : why can't we just pass extra calories???

Yea yea, I know, the whole survival thingm but we don't seem to store up those extra vitimins and minerals for use when we need it, or even protein!

Imagine being able to store any extra protein in our muscles? Eat more protein, build more muscle--no actual work involved WOO HOO the american dream. We'd all be fat, muscular and lazy (oh yea and depressed)!

It would be nice to just pass excess calories that we don't use, like when you take a vitimin and make the toilet glow! Anything the body doesn't use, just gets flushed.

Too bad we can't fudge our body mechanics better to get the type of body we want (although I do remember a post by Will saying that they're close...). who knows though, most people would probably still find problems with their bodies and want some other magic miracle procedure or pill.

2 things to think about:

1) Muscle IS stored protein.

2) If everybody could easily have the perfect body, said body would no longer be desirable. It would look normal, commonplace, boring, unappealing, weak.

Thanks for clearing that up, erp7e. I often wondered why women found me so normal and unappealing.

I said "if." As it is in reality, amazingly jacked physiques such as yours are few and far between.
