Just curious.

Me, well I'm currently still trying to lose body fat (hardest thing for me to stay motivated with BTW) but I held nothing back Thursday, or yesterday. I must have had about 10 "servings" of stuffing, about 8 servings of mashed potatoes, not nearly enough turkey to get enough protein in, and tons of pie (I'll keep it clean hear and hold back with all of the puns that just went through my head ;) ). I even had SODA

Anyway, I keep telling myself that I did it to boost my metabolism...

I did increase my cardio earlier this week and today though, in anticipation of pigging out and today I went back to my normal eating routine.

It wouldn't have been as bad if I was still in the process of gaining LBM (which is much easier for me to stay motivated with), but I'm still determined to lose more fat first

How'd everyone else do?

Pretty good...but our situation makes it a bit simpler: it's just the 4 of us, with no other family members within several hundred miles. And I'm the cook - which made it easier to keep things under control.

Don't have thanksgiving here but in holiday sympathy for you I ate half a pack of chocolate digestives yesterday whilst watching the Bourne Supremacy and The Terminal :-)

Read an articles yesterday saying that the average man (I presume also woman) eats around 6000 calories on christmas day min.

They take into account normal acholol levels, cakes, pies, sausage rolls, stuffing, the main meal, crisps chocolates etc.

Not large amounts of any, just pikcing here and there throughout the day. 6000 calories!! I eat half that on any given day and sometimes less.

I ate too much, especially the brownies, and felt terrible the next day.

We had the family over for Thanksgiving. Four generations worth of family. My wife cooked and I helped (well, a little).

I went to the gym today and worked off about one-half a pound of the three pounds I gained since Thanksgiving. I always say I am not going to stuff myself but the food is so good – and there is so much of it -- that I can’t help myself. I love pumpkin pie and my wife made four of them. I just finished the last piece of pumpkin pie and put the one-half pound back on. Now it is diet – diet – diet, until Christmas. :o

Pigged out--and I needed to. Schedule's hectic and haven't been eating enough lately. :D

I think last year my mother over heard someone say "you could feed half an army with all this food" and got offended. This time she was determined to make enough for a WHOLE army.
