Cheers guys. I've just started using Fire Fox today. I'm going to use it for 24 hours then decide which browser I like the best.

I think Firefox is a lot faster.

Also, the Google search isn't as good as it doesn't seem to store previous searches.

I think most websites look better with Internet Explorer.

The main reason I started using Firefox is it is supposed to be safer though. I'm going to see how much spyware is on my computer tomorrow compared to a normal day with Internet Explorer.

Beyond multiple tabs and damn find rendering of pages, Firefox is quite a bit more secure then IE.

That's the main reason I use it.

If you're having problems w/ spyware (not so much a function of your browswer), Microsoft has a great new program...it is beta but I've found it to be one of the better products out there. Do a search on their site for antispyware beta.

That Beta looks like a good program. I'm just using it for the first time as I type. Thanks Claytid. It is going to stop working in just over a month it said though. Perhaps they are planning on selling the program in the future.

I prefer Firefox hands down. I have been using it for several months. The tab feature is great. The built-in pop-up and ad blockers are also quite nice. All this on top of the better security make it a no-brainer in my opinion. Plus, any chance to put even a small dent in the Microsoft empire is worth it!
