Not sure if it's a self help book in the classic sense or not, but Dr Peter Kramer (who wrote Listening to Prozac) has a new book out called Against Depression. I have not read it, but the author was on NPR the other day and I thought his comments were very interesting and based on that, I plan to read the book myself

Thanks Will. I've been looking at that book on Amazon and it does sound interesting.

I've ordered this one for now http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0380810336/ref=br_lf_b_8/026-3388430-1174815

I hope it is good as the book is for a family member and ofcourse they will probably believe everything that they read in there as they aren't used to evaluating information like we do.

Thanks again for the reply Will!
