Need some help from any of the Mac heads on the forum. When I attempt to open IE it crashes the comp. I have to force shut down the comp and reboot. Oddly, it only does it the first time I open it (in the morning after booting up the comp). After that itís fine. Figured I had a corrupt copy of IE, but it also does it when I open Netscape, so itís not the IE file. Virus scan finds nothing, rebuilding the desktop file does not help, first aid finds no corrupt files, etc. So far, I am at a loss here. Any advice? Clearly, force shut down of the comp every morning is a not a great idea. I am on of the last hold outs here, running 9.2.2 and version 5.1 of IE for Mac.

No expert here - my Mac use is limited to working w/the iMacs at K-8 grade schools. But there are a couple of things here you could try: http://www.more.net/technical/mac/ie5mac.html (scroll down)
