He needs to move on. For a guy who can essentially play one character, he's done well for himself. But enough is enough.

When I first heard about that I assume d he was going to just direct it or perhaps play the coach or something, but he's actually going to play Rocky at 50 plus years old. It's going to be terrible to see, most because the first Rocky was one of the greatest American movies ever made and it just degrades that great work with each terrible new Rocky. God father 3 was bad enough, but they seemed to have learned their lesson there.

Rockey I was the classic, people don't give stallone enough credit for that movie, and rocky II was not half bad either, but from then on they were still enjoyable in a flag waving kind of way, but lacked the credibility or earthyness of the prequels.

We havent even seen the movie yet, why judge it. I think its awesome. I read about it in a Flex magazine about 6-8 month ago, when he first announced it. He also said that he'll be making another Rambo movie, and most probably this movie about a detective trying to solve the mystery of 2Pac's Death. His goal behind those movies is not exactly to make money, at least thats not what he sayd outloud, but to basically demonstrate that people can transform their bodies at any age. I mean sure, he will make movie off the movie, but as a fan or working out, I just think its great that he'll demonstrate to the whole world how beneficial the sport is. Besides he looked great in the pictures. He's way more buff than he was in any other time of his life.

I'm sure he will look fantastic, that's not really the point. Rocky films have gone downhill from each of the successive sequels, I'm sure it will be 'ok' but Rocky I and II to a less degree were classics, seems a shame to ruin a legacy even further.

You got a point there, but lets give the guy a shot, he might just surprise all of us by knocking out somebody like the Klitchko Brothers. Wouldnt that be intresting to watch?

No - the antagonist has to be Mike Tyson - THEN maybe I'll watch. :)
