After reading the post on the old days of Arnold etc, I'm 55 today, I thought you would enjoy my little input on Paul and another friend Claude Groulx. It was the early 80's and I joined a new gym called Winston's in Montreal. This is where I met Paul Dillett and Claude Groulx who both trained there. I remember Paul coming in with a buddy being very shy and pretty much keeping to himself. I said to my friend that this guy had great genetics, just look at those calfs. Anyways it was funny he musn't of weighed more than 195 and I did eventually have these conversations with him, spotted him every so often and then 7 months later I see him at the Mr. Montreal competiton , just in the audience, looking like a huge tank. He obviously had made a decision to go a different route and certainly looked in the mid 200's at this point. Claude was always a good friend about my height but about 20 lbs heavier. Once again this guy had it all and we trained every other day , just a great guy to know and learn from. Just for your interest Winston's was owned by Winston Roberts who was the IFBB secretary at the time for Ben Weider et al. Those were great times to remember then I moved to Vancouver.

Nice little anecdote. Dillet is one huge fella, but clearly genetics or no genetics it's not until he started Dinabol and bacon for breakfast that he got to that size.
