How to set up a diet
Step 1
Click the 'Create new diet' button on the main diet page.
Step 2
On the next page, fill in all the required information. Choose if you want your diet to be public or private. Please note that if you choose public, all members will be able to see your diet, including any notes you've added to it. Remember that you can always change if you want your diet to be public or private at any time after you've created it.
Also choose if you want to use a title-based or date-based diet. If you choose title, you will be able to give each day it's on name, for example Monday, Tuesday and so on:
If you choose dates, the system will automatically choose the date for you based on the start date you choose:
Step 3
Then choose the first food from the dropdown menu and the quantity (#) of the food you want to add to your first meal. Click the 'ADD' button to the right to add this food to your meal:
If you want to type in your own food, choose the ADD OWN FOOD option in the dropdown menu and fill in the fields that appear. All the foods you add like this will be accessible through the regular food dropdown under the category you choosed. Your personal foods will also be marked with a * in front of the name.
Repeat this until you've added all the foods you want to this meal. Then click the 'ADD THIS MEAL AND CREATE NEXT' button to add this meal to this day. If you want to delete a food from the meal before you add it to the day, click the red X to the right of the meal you want to delete.
To add more meals, repeat the actions in step 3.
