How to set up a diet

Step 1
  Click the 'Create new diet' button on the main diet page.
Step 2
  On the next page, fill in all the required information. Choose if you want your diet to be public or private. Please note that if you choose public, all members will be able to see your diet, including any notes you've added to it. Remember that you can always change if you want your diet to be public or private at any time after you've created it.
  Also choose if you want to use a title-based or date-based diet. If you choose title, you will be able to give each day it's on name, for example Monday, Tuesday and so on:
  If you choose dates, the system will automatically choose the date for you based on the start date you choose:
Step 3
  Then choose the first food from the dropdown menu and the quantity (#) of the food you want to add to your first meal. Click the 'ADD' button to the right to add this food to your meal:
  If you want to type in your own food, choose the ADD OWN FOOD option in the dropdown menu and fill in the fields that appear. To add your food to this meal, click the 'ADD' button to the right of the food you just filled in. All the foods you add like this will be accessible through the regular food dropdown under the category you choosed. Your personal foods will also be marked with a * in front of the name.
  Repeat this until you've added all the foods you want to this meal. Then click the 'ADD THIS MEAL AND CREATE NEXT' button to add this meal to this day. If you want to delete a food from the meal before you add it to the day, click the red X to the right of the meal you want to delete.
  To add more meals, repeat the actions in step 3.

Load Meal from Favorites

To load a meal from your personal favorites, simply click the 'Load Meal From Favorites' link on the top right corner of the 'Create New Meal' box and select the meal you want to load into your diet:

Edit a Meal

If you want to add, remove or change the quantity of foods in a meal, click the E icon. This will open up a window where you will be able to edit the current meal. To close the edit meal window without saving your changes, click the E icon once more, or simply click somewhere outside the edit meal window.

Misc. Meal Features

  1. Move meal up: Clicking this icon will move the meal one place up on the current day.
  2. Move meal down: Clicking this icon will move the meal one place down on the current day.
  3. Save Meal as Favourite Meal: Clicking this icon will save the meal in your favourite meal list, and you will able to load it back into any diet later simply by following these instructions.
  4. Edit Meal: Clicking this icon will enable you to edit the current meal.
  5. Delete Meal: Clicking the blue X icon will remove this meal from the diet.
  6. Remove Food: If you want to remove a food from the diet, click the red X next to the food you want to remove.

Edit Personal Foods

All the foods you add to your diets (marked with * in the food dropdown), can be removed or edited. Simply select the food you want to edit or remove and click the appropriate button below.

Public and Private Diets

If you want to change your diet from public to private or vice versa, simply click the blue lock icon on the diet planners main page next to the diet you want to change:

Change daily calorie goal and macronutrient split

If your daily calorie goal and macronutrient split changes during the diet, you can easily modify it from the daily stats box on top of the page:

Set Bodyweight and Bodyfat %

You can set your bodyweigth and bodyfat % on the bottom of the page by filling in the fields and click the 'Update/Save' button:
If you fill in the bodyweight and bodyfat % correctly from day to day, the diet planner will display a graph that will compare the bodyweight with the lean bodymass:

Search FAQ

Select this option if you would like your search to look in the text of FAQ items as well as their titles.

Select an option here to specify how you would like your search query to be treated. 'Any words' will return the most numerous but possibly least relevant results, while 'Complete phrase' will return only results that contain exactly what you are searching for.
